This wire basket is heavy stainless steel and in perfect condition. I'm using it for my faux apples now but it will be a great bread basket. I think it was $1.99.
I found this $5.00 lamp at Goodwill. It blends right in with my Stiffel lamps that I have just always loved. Aren't those two cute little boys? I wish they were my grandbabies- oh wait, they are! I'm so lucky.
I found two of these gold glass trees on sale for 90% off at Target. If you are as math challenged as me, they were originally $24.99 each, and on sale for $2.49. Hee.
I found two Willow plates by Churchill for a pittance- maybe $2.00. Should I feel guilty?
I have been to a LOT of Southern Living at Home parties. I have purchased MANY items- some I use, some I don't. But I appreciate the prices they command. So when I saw this (retired) Historical Bell Jar in Goodwill I recognized it right away. For $2.99 it was worth it just to know how much money I saved ;) (I just realized the small hurricane beside it is also from SLAH, but I paid full price for it. Bah.)
That same day, I also found these 2 bowls which I have always admired whilst sitting at the many SLAH parties I've attended. But I always resisted and bought other things. So it seemed like fate when I saw these at Goodwill for $.99 each. Yes, that's right. $.99. I DO feel guilty. I believe they were originally $30.00 for the set of 2 bowls.
This small OXO salad spinner looked brand new, and originally retailed for $20.00 or so. Since my big salad spinner takes up so much room in my cabinet, I knew this was a perfect purchase. I think it was $1.99. Do you love salad spinners as much as I do??

I got that same wire basket as a wedding gift a million years ago and I am still using it! What great SLAH bargains. I didn't even look at any Christmas stuff on sale this year but I am thinking that was a mistake!
