Saturday Shopping Trip

This week I'm hooked on Lucketts, VA....

{photo from Apartment Therapy}
My daughter and I went on a little shopping trip last Saturday to the The Old Lucketts Store in Lucketts, VA. Although it's only about 30-35 minutes away, we had never been there. WELL. We won't make that mistake again. I think we both have a new favorite shopping destination. The only frustration is that we forgot our camera. That won't happen again either!
On the way home we stopped at a nearby place, On a Whim, which has an eye-catching pink silo. We had so much fun looking at all the goodies inside.

My girl is a world class shopper, and came home with armloads of fun stuff. I saw so many things I admired, but my only purchase was this black Spode plate. You can be sure that the next time I go, I'm bringing home a bag full of cute things.

If you live in the Washington area, plan a trip soon. If you are visiting the area, put it on your list of places to go! Forget about that old musty Smithsonian- go to Lucketts instead :)
**Saturday Update: I posted more photos in a new post today**

Now go over to Hooked On Houses to see what everyone else is hooked on this week!

I will definitely check this out on our next visit to DC...looks like a place I could spend a lot of time (and money). You weren't the only one that barely made the hooked on party...the link wouldn't work for me all day so I am after you! Happy Valentine's Day!

I shop like you...one purchase at a time....but I so admire talented shoppers like your daughter.

p.s. I would stop anywhere that has a pink silo...how cute!
